Brothers Christopher and Ethan Landis
formed Landis Construction Corporation and Landis Group Architects to
meet the growing needs of families living in established urban
neighborhoods in the Washington Metropolitan area. Our family business
has just celebrated its sixteenth year as a Design/Build firm
specializing in renovations of residential properties. We think one of
our keys to success is that both principals are involved in all aspects
of the building process.
After graduating from Swarthmore College and getting his MBA from
George Washington University, Ethan Landis formed Landis Construction
Corporation in 1990. As a developer/general contractor, Ethan has
managed both large and small restoration projects and worked with real
estate brokers and home owners to develop properties for resale.
A registered architect in three states, member of The American
Institute of Architects, Chris Landis has over 20 years experience in
design and construction. After earning his Master's in Architecture
from Columbia University, Chris worked with Fortune 500 Companies and
was responsible for the design and construction of office space in high
rise multi-use buildings.
In 1990 Chris joined his brother Ethan and Landis Construction
Corporation, which already had a successful track record of residential
renovations. With his combined architecture/management skills, Chris
incorporates the design process with hands-on construction expertise.
We service the home improvement needs and dreams of our clients in an
integrated process from design conception through the realization of
construction.
We provide excellent design, superior service, honest value and quality
construction. Traditionally, much of our new business and growth have
occurred through referral, so we strive to build long-term
relationships with our customers.
