OUR HISTORY IN GREEN BUILDING
Landis Construction has been closely following the development of the green building movement for over a decade and educating ourselves along the way. We have been steadily passing on our knowledge to our clients by introducing them to the proven opportunities and options available to incorporate green materials and technologies into their designs. But our past approach was reflective of a recognition that the public's acceptance and comfort with "green" in general was low but evolving.
However, something recently changed for the better in the DC region as a major expansion in awareness, acceptance and comfort with "green" is taking place. As a result of this shift, the marketplace will see a great expansion of green product and service claims that may prove challenging to sift through for the public. But Landis is in this for the long haul so we intend to make sure that every green claim we make is matched up with measurable and realizable benefits for you and the environment
