Green Design/Build Remodeling
If you are planning to remodel an existing home,
the prospect of heading full speed forward
doesn't always provide the level of comfort and
assurance people would like to have before
making such a large financial and emotional
investment. So when a prospective customer
wishes to ease more slowly into the design
process, we will sometimes recommend beginning
our working relationship with a design
Feasibility Study.
Green Design (our approach)
This approach is as applicable to a "green"
remodeling project as it would be to a
conventional remodeling project. Beyond the
usual considerations, applicable green design
strategies, technologies and materials may also
be evaluated for their potential with respect to
a variety of cost and benefit considerations. So

DESIGN + BUILD
Design + Build means that the client approaches
us without drawings and wants us to guide them
through a "green" design process prior to
construction of a mid- to large-sized
residential remodeling project and/or an
addition.

PRE-CONSTRUCTION SERVICES + BUILD
Pre-Construction Services + Build means that
the client or their architect approaches us with
an existing set of plans for a mid- to
large-sized "green" remodeling project but is
looking for a general contractor to manage and
build the project. A good deal of work is always
required to close the distance between reviewing
drawings at your property and starting the
physical construction. This process closes that
gap and minimizes or eliminates later surprises.
