Crestwood, DC - Bathroom
NARI CotY "Grand" Award Winner 2002
Brief Explanation of the Scope
of Work
This bathroom was remodeled
within the existing footprint, a simple re-configuration created more efficient circulation and functionality.
Unusual Constraints/Challenges & Creative Solutions
Making this bathroom
really “special” within
the confines of the existing space was especially challenging.
The customer required keeping a door to each of two
adjoining bedrooms and restoring one window. This bathroom
cost approximately $28,500.
Wanting a vanity for optimum storage and good counter
space led us to design and build this custom trapezoid
unit with angled doors. The silestone top and under-mount
sink is accented by maple trim around the full mirror
and in-set glass tile splash.
Overall Results
The
client is very pleased with the final project and especially
the craftsmanship required tie all these
finishes together successfully.
