Bethesda, MD -
Guest Bathroom
Brief Explanation of the Scope
of Work
This guest bathroom was part
of a whole house remodel with an addition on one side
of the house. It had originally been a small, non-descript
bathroom in need of remodeling.
Unusual Constraints/Challenges & Creative Solutions
Our primary challenge was to transform this bathroom
into one that had much more color and character. The
customer wanted every elevation to incorporate high
quality finishes. Coordinating between the cabinetmaker,
Corian fabricator, mirror installers, tile setters,
painters and wallpaper hanger made this a relatively
high-risk job.
The creative solutions were the bold use of colored
glass tiles which made the entire space to look three-dimensional through
mirrors.
The three major products
used were: Kohler sink & tub,
Corian counters and Interstile glass tile.
Overall Results
We transformed this room into a hi-tech yet playful
space. The overall effect was a bright, cheerful guest
bathroom that summons a heightened level of awareness.
