Brief Explanation of the Scope of Work

The scope of this addition is really quite modest. However, it was essential to the client’s needs in the kitchen & master bath above. The overall project was much larger & included all new windows, siding & decking on the rear elevation. The existing structure, insulation & fire rating were also improved.

The kitchen layout was improved substantially due to the expanded first floor footprint. As shown in the before & after plans, this addition afforded just enough space to allow for critical counter, cabinet & appliance space. It also allowed the sink to be centered under the new double window.

Overall Results

The customers were very happy with the final product and workmanship. Their back yard & deck look & work so much better with the resulting addition.

	Before and After - The bathroom area was enlarged to accomodate a new jacuzzi closer to the window, a shower enclosure, and a double vanity
	During and After - The location for the Jacuzzi was a priority for the homeowner
	After - The new deck had to be raised by two and a half feet to allow for generous headroom down below in the garage and to build steps connecting the rear yard with the garage
