This custom kitchen project was a collaborative effort with a familiar kitchen designer. The homeowners wanted a contemporary kitchen with clean lines, excellent appliances, improved storage, a desk, a pantry area and a new breakfast bar area. The goal was to integrate a variety finishes including stone, wood, glass, tile and stainless steel. However, the layout was excellent and we only added a breakfast bar to the island feature. The existing kitchen was predominantly white which reminded the homeowner, an orthodontist, too much of her workplace environment when in her kitchen
