The homeowners purchased this corner apartment in one of DC’s storied Kalorama co-op buildings originally built in 1928. The client’s program included a new kitchen, renovation of the primary bathroom and primary bedroom suite, hall bathroom renovation, a challenging powder room addition in the existing foyer, and a complete interior remodeling. Modernization and increased functionality were achieved through the conversion of the gallery into a great room, expanding the primary bedroom, the new powder room addition, and custom varied kitchen countertop heights.
