Key Responsibilities:
Permitting and Inspection Management:
- Proactively manage the permitting process from submission through issue.
- Track all steps in the permit lifecycle during construction to confirm compliance and prevent delays.
- Help establish training and protocol for designers to minimize HFCs and shorten permitting application times.
- Maintain permit WIPS schedule
- Manage Tertius system
- Supervise Electrical and plumbing permit applications by Masters
Data and Operations: Work closely with the Director of Operations & Data to provide the company with useful information presented in a usable format with the goal of helping management run and improve the company.
- Track the workflow between the design, estimating, and construction departments
- Maintain a working knowledge and understanding of all issues and priorities across design, estimating, and construction departments
- Identify areas to improve operational efficiency and build action plans to implement them
- Develop and enhance Smartsheet systems, processes, and dashboards
- Provide insights to management based on Operational Data
- Other Duties as Assigned

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Permit Expeditor, or similar role.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred. Valid work permit (USA)
- Local residency (DC, Maryland, or Virginia)
- 3-5 days a week in-person full-time. (Hybrid work schedule potential after the first 90 days)
