ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Work with our in-house Architects/Project Designers on residential design/build projects, functioning as the in-house Interior Designer on those projects. On relevant projects, function as the Lead Designer on the project.
- Contribute to schematic plans as needed, develop interior elevations, and update plans to include interior specifications, using Cheif Architect or Revit.
- Develop selections presentations, and manage the process of client selections using Design Files.
- Lead the Interior Design process on your projects, scheduling and leading client meetings, showroom visits, etc.
- Partner with the Project Development team to ensure client happiness, develop complete contracts and project documentation, and collaborate with the Construction Team to facilitate a smooth construction process.
- Manage logistics for furniture/decor ordering and install days.
- Mentor and train Interior Design staff.
- Ensure project completion within the allocated budget and timeline.
- Oversee cabinetry ordering, reviews, and quality control.
- Develop and expand client and vendor relationships.
- Other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- Residential Interior Designer with a minimum of 8+ years of experience
- Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or related field
- Excellent Chief Architect, Revit experience is a plus.
- Ability to develop strong design concepts and accurately document them in design presentations and construction documents
- Experience with cabinetry ordering, installation management, and troubleshooting
- Knowledge of and strong connections with local vendors and material suppliers
- Proficient experience with space planning, FF&E specifications, material selections, and codes
- Proficient experience with the construction administration process in residential and light commercial projects
- Excellent 3D graphic rendering skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
- Valid work permit (USA)
- Progress toward NCIDQ Certification (preferred but not required)

Salary: $80,000- $105,000 per year
