ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Design and manage multiple projects at a time and be willing to provide secondary support on other projects as required.
- Ensure deliverable completion within the allocated budget, timeline, and program.
- Be willing to collaborate, teach, and always seek ways to self-improve.
- Support and seek out new client and vendor relationships
- Architectural Functions include: Existing analysis, program development, schematic design, design development, detailing, framing & MEP planning, CD development, and design administration during construction.
- Interiors Functions include: finish selections management w/ given allowances, color & design sketching,
- Oversee cabinet ordering, reviews, and quality control
- Coordinate with mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and structural subcontractors
- Other duties as assigned

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
- 10 to 15 years of residential design experience preferred. We are looking for a blend of architecture, design-build, kitchen & bath, and interior design expertise.
- Minimum of a bachelor’s degree. Focus in the fields of Architecture or Interior Design will be preferred.
- Experience in Chief Architect, Revit LT, SmartSheets, DesignFiles, and MSTeams/365 is preferred.
- Ability to develop strong design concepts and accurately document them in design presentations and construction documents
- Experience with cabinetry ordering, installation management, and troubleshooting
- Proficient experience with zoning, code analysis, historic, material selections, specifications, and permitting.
- Proficient experience with the construction administration process in residential and light commercial projects
- Valid work permit (USA)
- RA, AIA, NCARB, NCIDQ, CKBD, etc. credentials are a plus
Reasoning Ability
Must have the ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw a valid conclusion. Ability to multi-task and to work effectively under pressure due to conflicting demands is required. Must be flexible, highly organized, creative, and detail-oriented with the ability to set and meet deadlines.
Language Skills
Requires excellent verbal and written communication skills, including listening and interpersonal relationship communication skills as well as coaching and collaboration. This must include a strong presentation and public speaking skills with the ability to interact with a diverse group of his/her staff and internal and external customers appropriately and professionally.
Computer Skills
Excellent keyboarding skills with a high level of accuracy are required. Must have proficiency with MS Windows, Teams, & 365, possess the capacity to learn software programs required for a specific position, and must be able to access electronic communications, including e-mail and the Internet.

The position may require frequent travel to multiple sites. The employee must provide their own reliable transportation for the performance of their duties.
