Ethan Landis
Co-Founder & Chief Executive Officer, MBA, CR, LEED-APEthan Landis has been passionate about our design/build company since starting it in 1990. He loves the business side and building the company, finding and hiring and motivating great employees, as well as working with customers to make their homes fabulous.
He previously sat on the District’s Construction Code Coordinating Board, helping the city establish green construction codes. He and his firm have received two Mayor’s Sustainability Awards for their leadership. He served two terms (9 years) on the Mayor’s Green Building Advisory Board that helps oversee DC’s Green Building Act. He is a member of the Rock Creek Conservancy board and enjoys hiking the trails in Rock Creek Park.
Ethan and his wife Jude, with their dog Duke, live in the Crestwood neighborhood of Northwest DC. He has two grown sons, one of whom is planning to join Landis. He and his wife love spending time at their “family farm” in central Vermont.
