Our client lives in a Bethesda home built in 1959.  She wanted a rear addition that would give her space for a new, larger kitchen and to expand and convert a screened porch into an all-season TV room.  As part of the project, we reconfigured and enlarged the back entrance hall. The openings between the kitchen and family room and between the kitchen and dining room were both widened.   We added a gas fireplace with a honed Bianco Venatino marble surround to the family room and opened a doorway from the living room to the new TV room.

To achieve this, we extended the rear of her house 10 feet giving her an addition of approximately 200 square feet on the ground floor. Despite being relatively small, it made an enormous difference in the functionality and flow of the house. To learn more about this project, e-mail marketing@landisconstruction.com
