Prior to joining Landis, Alex has worked in marketing and communications for a marketing agency, tech company, and for the District of Columbia.
Outside of the office, she enjoys spending time with family and close friends, traveling, exploring area restaurants, half marathons, taking her golden retriever to the dog park, and cheering on DC sports and the Villanova Wildcats.
Ethan Landis has been passionate about our design/build company since starting it in 1990. He loves the business side and building the company, finding and hiring and motivating great employees, as well as working with customers to make their homes fabulous.
He previously sat on the District’s Construction Code Coordinating Board, helping the city establish green construction codes. He and his firm have received two Mayor’s Sustainability Awards for their leadership. He served two terms (9 years) on the Mayor’s Green Building Advisory Board that helps oversee DC’s Green Building Act. He is a member of the Rock Creek Conservancy board and enjoys hiking the trails in Rock Creek Park.
Ethan and his wife Jude, with their dog Duke, live in the Crestwood neighborhood of Northwest DC. He has two grown sons, one of whom is planning to join Landis. He and his wife love spending time at their “family farm” in central Vermont.
Kyle is the Director of Marketing & a Team Leader at Landis. As the Director of Marketing, Kyle oversees our in-house marketing team and sets our firm’s marketing and branding strategy. As a Team Leader, Kyle is an advocate and liaison for his clients throughout the design and construction of their homes. Kyle grew up around the business as the eldest son of Chris Landis and the eldest nephew of Ethan Landis. He graduated from Boston University and worked for the e-commerce firm Wayfair before joining Landis. In his free time, Kyle enjoys reading, running, and working on his own home improvement projects. He lives with his wife in Chevy Chase, DC.
